Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. The Bachelor in Arts was awarded to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she met at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. They renewed their vows on April 10th 2011 at Fredericton at a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place May of 2013, and her son was called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans her good announcement that she became pregnant on the set of Season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. Silk, who has been doing work on the show since the third season finale episode premiered on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. Her portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter because of its success.
