| Anna Paquin (n e Paquin) is a New Zealand-Canadian actor and actress. It was fate that took over. She didn't plan to be an actor however, it happened. The actress turned down a lot of requests she was presented with following the success of her debut film in order to focus on her studies. After her debut film was a success aged 14 she was approached for roles in Jane Eyre as well as the series Fly Away Homefilm. In 2000 she played the strong mutant Roguein X-Menthe X-Menfilmseries. The role she played upon landed her in the limelight. She was cast in the same role as Roguein sequels like X2and X-Men the Last Stand. She also appeared on small screens such as in the film Bury My Heart At Wounded Kneeforwhich she earned her first Emmy award. Since she first began performing in television series, she received a flood of requests. |
